Hi, the textures are messed up with dhewm3, see Prnt.sc. On vanilla Doom 3 it works fine. I am playing in the source port for uncapped FPS. Could you please advise on the texture issue?

Hey Maggy_,

yes the duration is the same as before. The version difference consists of updated voice over, bug fixes and Steam features.

Hey HenryT77,
Yes, I am pretty much already decided to add Polish in the game as well.

That's great, thank you for your support.

Regarding the issue you came across, I am having a hard time reproducing it. It always behaves fine for me, but based on what you say, there might be something wrong with the colliders. Would you mind sending me the game's log file? It might contain an error report. Locate the file in "Blameless/Blameless_Data/output_log.txt". This file may have been truncated thou, if you've run the game again in the meantime. Regardless, sending the file to hudecv@gmail.com could do some good :) Thank you so much

Where did you encounter this bug? "Couldn't go forward, couldn't go back", looks like something that needs fixing, but I can't do it without your input. Cheers

Hey SkythaGuy, thank you for the thorough feedback and evaluation. Every opinion is extremely valuable and I wish there were more such detailed feedback from the players.

1 - You're right, it does sound a little out of place

2 - There are no batteries needed, if it doesn't shine, its broken. Will check it out and fix it

3 - Very good point to keep in mind for later projects, cheers

4 - You have no idea how much I thought about this during development :) I made a decision that I believed would not ruin the design. Of course you can burst through the window and jump out (originally I wanted to allow it and have the player die on impact - hitting pointy metal fence), but that added on too much complexity and necessity to fully model the world around the house. Given the amount of detail I was aiming for, that bit would have taken much longer to develop. And I thought putting bars to the windows would kill the setting. So as you say, I had to make some decisions to balance out these aspects.

About the sequel, I've already mentioned here that it's definitely in planning (otherwise I wouldn't have put such a cliffhanger at the end of the story), however it will require (crowd)funding to become a reality. I'd like to create the sequel with much longer duration and with extended gameplay mechanics (character interaction in conversations, more autonomous AI, bigger levels and more emotions in the voice over :)) And that is too much of a workload for a single developer.

Hey Mike, great video, I had some laughs listening to and seeing your reactions. I couldn't believe what you did with that toilet.

I am glad you liked it, and yes your assumption was right, there is a sequel in planning. However it has not yet reached the development phase and I cannot tell when it will due to financial implications. I'll be making an announcement in the upcoming weeks. By the way, could you submit your rating here on the profile? Cheers

Hey HenryT77, thanks for playing. From what you explained, you took the shortcut :) I meant to design the way you had taken to be more difficult to spot. Apparently not difficult enough. To take on some extra challenge and extend your experience, you could try getting to the gate through the garage instead of the scaffolding - there is an alternative way.

Hi, it's really hard to say. I have a compatibility issue that only manifests on Macs, but it has been quite hard to pinpoint the origin. If I can find the cause quickly, the Mac version could be ready within a few days, however the search might take weeks just as well.

Hi chris_coma,

Thanks for playing the game and thanks for reporting this. To be honest, I didn't think of this use case, as I always play full screen. I will add this to my list of updates for the next version. Cheers

Hi Argoon, thanks for your insight and evaluation. I like to think of Blameless as a full title, indeed a very short one. Being the only developer, I don't really have the capacity to create a gameplay of a commercial length, hence the "No price tag" strategy. There is a game plan for a commercial sequel that would build upon the story and evolve it further, but that will require finance for development.

By the way, could you submit your rating? Or a short review

Hi gregoaaa,

Thanks for describing the problem this thoroughly. This is a glitch, it's meant to work just the way you expect. To get past this, instead of the metal rod, pickup the wood plank in the corridor you dropped into (facing the locked white door, you should see it on the right-hand-side just before the empty door frame on the right).

Sorry about this, I'll be uploading a fix as quickly as my internet allows.

Thanks for your interest

The concept lays out this adventure to be free to play. The community and it's feedback is important to me and in turn I want to give everyone the best possible experience.

Thanks for your interest in the game!

I am planning to release an alpha version in early/mid July. For now the plan for the alpha is to contain one or two rooms with associated puzzles. I’m hoping to get some feedback as to how difficult, interesting, and/or unique the puzzles will seem to the players.
