While I neither intend to make this game a rail shooter nor a cover-based one, I very much do aim to replicate the magic of 90's action games.
I hope you'll be following development moving forward :)

I'm going to point out the elefant in the room.
I bought the game last year, hoping for some fun. However, I quickly noticed that a whole bunch of missions in the challenge mode would cause the game to crash.
When checking the Steam forums, I noticed that this was a prevalent problem. I understand it's a mundane, time consuming and hair rippingly annoying task to go into your wide variety of missions and find what causes said crashes, fix the problem and then notice you've caused a bug with something else.
But PLEASE fix it.
Glad you like it.
Pleas support the game on Greenlight.
This game looks completely amazing!
As for the cars I want to see, I have a short but sweet list.
Ferrari 575
Ferrari 512M (1992)
Lancia Delta Integrale
Saab 900 "Black Turbo"
Volvo 740/940/S90
Volvo Amazon
Really cool. How did you get the road reflections?
Is it Unity you're using?
Is this project still going?
I think it looks really cool.
Cool video.
As you said, that's a fairly glitchy and old demo. Velocity Stream is actually already greenlit and we're aiming to launch next week. We could send you Steam keys after launch if you want to make a stream or review.
Yes, 4 player splitscreen is the intention.
While online is our main priority, we do indeed plan to include a splitscreen mode.
Glad you like it.
Don't forget to support our Greenlight campaign :)
The game currently runs online, splitscreen will come back in due time.
Glad to hear it.
Our current plan is to release a splitscreen demo in March.
This is a really cool, stylized art style. You could use a screenshot like this as an album cover or a poster.
Have you considered giving the game a Doom-like look? In other words, to make the enemies 2D sprites? And then make certain larger enemies, like tanks or helicopters, into 3D models.
This should enable you to get around the Hot-dog problem.
Oh, and since you're swedish, please include a kpist and maybe AK4 ;)
Very nice. The colt has to be the most iconic pistol around. Will you be able to dual-wield gold ones? Or get a Terminator-style over-slung laser?
Thanks a lot.
We'd love it if you'd spread the word about our game.
It's a great morale booster to know that the project is appreciated by someone who's as successful as yourself.
The Paver is free to fly however he likes.
However, the Paver has a time limit and needs to catch the time powerups to get more time. These, as well as the Paver powerups will be near the ground.
It's rather unclear at the moment, but it runs smoothly in splitscreen on what we'd consider an average computer. And our programmer is currently optimizing the entire code, so performance is only going to improve with time.
We are hoping to launch Velocity Stream this year. However, as always with indie productions, we can't be certain.
You can check our latest pic to see a bit of that. It's all gonna happen.
Thank you!
As you might've read, the video doesen't represent the current state of the game, so once you see the (probably) next video, you'll be in for a treat.
Hi.
How did you acheive the "swoosh" effect?
We're working on creating an exciting experience for the Paver as well. We're going to implement power ups and a checkpoint system, as well as tweaking the speed, to make the game more fun. Shaky cams, motion blur, more obstacles in the game world and other effects will then increase the sense of speed.
And as we desire to make this the definitive sci-fi racing experience, we are of course open to suggestions from our fans.
Thank you very much. It's very good to know that others have the same high hopes for this project as we do ourselves. I'll definitely share your comment with our artist, Daniel Uleander.
If you wish to help, please share the link on Facebook, Twitter and any social forums you happen to be using.
Thank you very much!
If you want to see our game progress faster, you are welcome to help us with our IndieGoGo-campaign.
