My confusion is this: On the main mod's page it says, "Please note that if you're downloading this after 1 April 2018, you don't need the patch as well, the full version contains it." But, it also says that the main mod was updated April 1st.
However, this patch is dated July 27th.
SO: Do we need this patch or not?

When it ends in a draw (we simultaneously kill each other's last tank), it crashes Big Time, with access violations---streaming down the page.

Tried to download the zip. Is this game dead? hasn't been anything new in a Long time.

Played to the first bog, twice---won both battles---crashed twice, right afterwards, both times. May be Alpha?

I'm a Hardcore, since Alpha, Minecraft player. Played Terraria---meh. Started playing Darkout and uninstalled Terraria. This is what Terraria should have been *and*, he's not done with this yet. Game's way cool.

Did all of that. Repaired it, more than once even. Never have put a number in there. Have tried random and not---usually random. Bet I've 25 straight without having a crash site.

Two quick things: 1) Keep generating worlds with no crash site. How can you do anything with no tools, no ability to dig, etc.? 2) The screen that says to Return to the main menu, is (completely) Exit game only.

Haven't been able to install/update in 2-3 weeks now. Keeps throwing errors and remaining "not ready".

I would think sequels would be so much better. Because of the open creativity, if you had other game ideas, you could simply 'attach' them to this game. Your game, your show, you can move it any direction(s) you want. If you do a new/different game, then you'll get inevitable comparisons between them all. (e.g. "I like one better than six, three was pretty good, eight sucked, etc.") Plus, you already have this one established to lure in more and more people and allow the excitiement of, "where are we going next?". Just my two cents. Andm yes, I bought it. :)

...of course if/when the dl works only....

Hope it's a temporary thing. We'll see. From everything I've read, will probably get it regardless, but, again, want it through here due to the updates (assuming you're going to update it?? minor fixes? New content? maybe) :)

Bet it's on Desura's end, as I have a very large list from them already----all working.

Downlaod problem. Didn't even make it to the installer. Have been following this game quite a while. Would rather get it here because of the auto updating. Just thought I'd give the demo a try. But, when it won't even install that, makes me quite (justifiably) skeptical.

Played the demo. Pretty cool, love turn-based! Music's annoying. Didn't see an option to shut it off! Probably purchase if I can get rid of the music (but keep the other sounds). If I can't, I won't. [first thing I do with any game is kill the music] Thanks.

With the editor, can you make the 'planet' larger than the normal size?

Thought of another thing this really needs: In the army screen, it's sure be a lot better to be able to hover over the units and get their info rather than have to click each one (unless I'm missing something).

Only thing so far: During battle, there is a pause and 3 speeds. However, the slowest speed is still too quick---I'd like to watch it more closely, without pausing every second or two. Is there a way to set this slower? Otherwise, great so far! Played the CRAP out of Dom 3. :)

That would be cool. Looking for strategy, not a twitchy button masher :)
