Keep your friends close and your enemies copycats closer... The epic devilish sentence.
In the last few days I've been browsing throughout indieDB and I sensed a lot of paranoia and the worst known disease that affects game designers: Copycats Imminent Attack. You see it coming.. that black shadow with fangs and claws and.. I can't do it.. it's just too much!!!

My point is: Do not fear copycats if you have a great best original idea in the world recognized by UN and so on. Publish your idea, make yourself loud, show the entire world what are you doing and what are you thinking. Even if you don't have a finished project, don't fear! I intend to do this during my entire project development by posting every day on my main blog(it says homepage on my profile). Every single day. And if anyone catches something and uses it before me.. then.. then.. hehehe.. what f@c#ed up reputation it would have.. hehe.. they play with me.. I shall play with them a little bit more. As my always message of power is: You f&%#$ with me... then I shall #$%@ you too! *Please don't flag, I just got my point there and I censored too :D.* I mean, hey! Guy that has stolen my work! You! I'm speaking with you! See this? In your face! Straight in your face! Right in your face!
Something like that.. :D
So don't fear copycats, embrace them, keep them close, and if they run away, then you know what you have to do ;)... 'In your face!'.
And finally.. don't be a copycat! Don't even think of being one! Think original! Make something original!
