Pretty bad@$$. I know shaders are fun and all but it was really hurting my eyes while you were shifting. Be a bit more minimalist in the right spots and I'm sure people will have a better appreciation for them.

Hey, if your having trouble with the collision detection I would read this article : Games.greggman.com Since your using rectangle cells as walls it will be perfect. The gist of it is to use, not the character as the collider, but four or five small points placed at the head, feet, and sides. That way any velocity is much easier to predict for. Also, I found that using while(colliding side) loops to increment the player's position out of the wall was the most stable and visually pleasing. There are even better ways but you would need to study trig.

As good as the game looks, and not to be mean, but you can't expect players to have fun by changing out of wet clothes. Even though this fits under "hostile AI", are you at least going to implement hostile wildlife?

I agree. Maybe if the melee combat was revamped, more people would be more willing to play. The guns have excellent feel but melee was the only frustrating and clunky aspect of the mod.
