You make me so jealous >_< I want to make a world like yours. The engine is amazing!
Really cool, I like the first couple of tomb raiders because of the jumping puzzles, I hope this will have the same.
I wish Arma 3 AI were as half as smart as yours.
Only reason to get this is for project reality, don't forget it.
We definitely need more games like this.
Really great, awesome controls, and I really like the Homeworld inspiration
Pretty bad@$$. I know shaders are fun and all but it was really hurting my eyes while you were shifting. Be a bit more minimalist in the right spots and I'm sure people will have a better appreciation for them.
The gif of the repair robots fixing the hall was definitely a cool sight to see.
id games are awesome and so is this mod. Are you going to have more zombified security?
Every time I visit I want to play this game more! How soon is the release?
Hey, if your having trouble with the collision detection I would read this article : Games.greggman.com Since your using rectangle cells as walls it will be perfect. The gist of it is to use, not the character as the collider, but four or five small points placed at the head, feet, and sides. That way any velocity is much easier to predict for. Also, I found that using while(colliding side) loops to increment the player's position out of the wall was the most stable and visually pleasing. There are even better ways but you would need to study trig.
As good as the game looks, and not to be mean, but you can't expect players to have fun by changing out of wet clothes. Even though this fits under "hostile AI", are you at least going to implement hostile wildlife?
Taking immersion to new realms!
I played your first game and while it was both frustrating and easy at times, it was still a pretty fun experience. It looks like it's been taken to a whole new level and I can't wait to play it.
I thought I should mention this; I noticed the subtraction problems in this video are not working so I fixed the way subtraction problems are solved and blocking is back to normal. I hope you are staying tuned.
It's great to see how gpus are revolutionizing how we program games.
Can't wait to see it bustling with activity.
WHOLE 'NOTHER LEVEL
Looks very interesting and strategic. I'll definitely have to get for android.
Awesome getting to that phase where you can focus on making the assets.
looks great, needs some night vision though. Just curious, but are you going to have a single player component like arma?
Are you planning on having a score system?
I agree. Maybe if the melee combat was revamped, more people would be more willing to play. The guns have excellent feel but melee was the only frustrating and clunky aspect of the mod.
-crap, meant to replay to ghostuser above
The terrain looks great!
please release soon, I'm ready to make a campaign for myself lol
Makes me wish I was in that wet suit.
Sprites are NOT mine and are NOT final. Tiles are mine though.
This game really blew me away. You really know how to make a game feel nostalgic. The music, sound effects, animations, everything superb job.
The simplified objective reminds of the star trek ASCII game. Its a great way to go for a fun, compact experience but you still have freedom.
