Mickey Mouse did not originate as a video game character. We do not put in characters that did not originate in video games.

Collision detection is still a major hassle that we are continually addressing.

Nintendo and Sega do not care as long as the fan project is not profited from or discredits them or any third party.

Because Mega Man is a NPC in our game. It's been decided that way a long time ago. Besides, too many other crossover games use Mega Man too much.

Proto Man is another NPC, and Luigi wears Proto Man's outfit for his Mega Man powerup. Bass will be Roll's own Mega Man powerup.

It's been planned for a while that we will add additional characters. I know of your concerns with Sonic in the game and how he behaves. Keep in mind that Sonic is still in his early phases. Much later down the line, we will give him his true 2D mechanics, including running in loops and up walls.

This game is nowhere near complete, so you can bet that Sonic will see his true gameplay in the future of this game project.

It's true that it started as a Mario-only game, but now the game is evolving to more than that. We are breaking away from the Mario-only mold and are adding new mechanics.

Kirby is definitely planned as part of the playable character list. We'll keep you posted.

Hold that thought. We are trying to ready v0.2.5 Beta for ModDB soon. This will load dramatically faster than v0.2 Beta. For me, v0.2.5 Beta loads in only 2 minutes as opposed to 10 minutes for v0.2 Beta.

This is why we did not upload v0.2 Beta to ModDB, because we do not want to subject people to the bloated unoptimized mess that is v0.2.

This is a video game only crossover. DBZ would be cool, but it would be impractical from a gaming standpoint.

Multiplayer would be quite difficult to add at this point, but who knows?
