I think it can edit stuff like which workers each races gets as starting workers and same for the starting building. That is really all of interest.

Just finished playing it. Very nice, but being able to upgrade stuff to infinite levels kinda killed it... Just take a fast unit, upgrader the hell out of it, and ONE of them can wipe out an entire enemy civilisation. Also, the AI doesn't cope well with new units, it seems... They don't produce as much. And the Uber ships are a little Underkill for their price... But hey. Lazer Rifle troopers FTW! Also, loved the Giant Spiders!
