Hey! We are Flintlock Studios and we have been developing Lithic Indiedb.com for the past year. Lithic is a god-game (think Black & White and Populous) set in a prehistoric fantasy world. We are currently on Kickstarter Kickstarter.com to help us finish off this stage of development and launch Early Access. It would be amazing if you could check it out!

Hello, thanks for your question. Lithic won't have dinosaurs in it, we've taken inspiration for the creatures in Lithic from prehistoric animals going back to around 2 million years ago which was a long time after dinosaurs went extinct.
Hello, apologies for not replying to your comment sooner. We're planning to include plenty of customisation options for skirmish mode, so players can tailor their experience. As for the second question, it's likely that a player will need to use a combination of different strategies to achieve victory, but we plan to allow players multiple ways to accomplish their goals.

Flintlock Studios is an independent computer games studio based in North Yorkshire, UK. We are currently developing our first major title for PC using Unity as an engine. Flintlock Studios games are set within our own universe, which we are actively developing alongside our first title. We enjoy games where you feel invested in the storyline and being able to develop our own dark fantasy universe helps us to create those stories. We want to bring back the feeling of achievement that was present in a lot of retro games. We want games to be about the journey and not just about the destination, you might not win the games we develop but you will have fun trying. We feel that sense of journey has been lost from recent games, and so our aim is to bring it back without the retro graphics by using technology that is now available to us.
