Ah yeah, I found out about saving progress shortly after posting.
I just came back to say I'm still kinda hooked on this. The speed is my only complaint.

By the way, I can't remember the last time I had to use the Pause/Break button on my keyboard to actually pause something. I forgot that key existed.

I like what I see so far. Movement speed seems a bit too slow though (or maybe I have a crappy PC).

I played the demo for a couple hours over the past two or three days. Will there be a way to save progress in a level?

Interesting. I was thinking about this game for mobile while playing the demo. But then I had over 200 ants running around and noticed the frame rate start to be affected, so it might be too much for most phones to handle anyway.

I don't know how that would fit in the game, but I've been thinking about it for a little while and it could possibly be an interesting little bonus round or something like that.

I think I can fix that tank problem easily by checking for obstacles between it and the player. The jumping/stomping bug is something I noticed as well, but still haven't figured out why it happens.

I'm not sure I understand what your game mode idea is. Are you suggesting something where you have to defend something like an AI controlled baby monster?

The volume thing is a good idea.
I made a note for myself to remember to do that. Right under my note to remind myself to make it so the tanks don't roll over when they hit people, even though that looks hilarious.

You can pick up cars after you use the strength upgrade in the upgrades menu. At first you can only pick up smaller cars and cop cars. The second level upgrade lets you grab trucks and larger cars as well.
There's also some blood splatter already, but only in some cases (crushed or dropped). That stuff could certainly use some improvement, and I do like the footstep idea, maybe just for stomping or landing though, to add emphasis or whatever.

I'll need to think about what to do about those clever cops staying out of reach. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.
