Well, I started from my monitor native res of 1440p, but since I can barely see the fonts I'd happily go down to 720p (still looks good since I use FSR), but then the HUD elements are obstructing the PDA.

Hello, just started the mod, and right away I can tell a bit of annoyance that I personally find: the default text size on the PDA's is extremely small. I even lowered the resolution to have all the HUD elements bigger, still the text is barely readable.
Just to make it clear, I think is perfectly readable for the majority of players while playing close to the monitor, but for couch potatoes like me, it doesn't work that well.
Something is still fishy about this, I did the correct things in correct order, still the panel doesn't react, or reacts too late. I tried various methods, pressing E quickly, pressing it in rapid succession, keeping it pressed, pressing it few times. Sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't, enough to not be able to finish the game.
Heck, I'm gonna try it one more time now, brb.
OK, managed to do it, but in a surprising (for me) way. Until now I kept the cross-hair pointed at the panel (like you'd normally do I believe when you want to activate things). It turned out that I had to point the cross-hair downwards until the panel was almost outside my view, and then press E, so basically you press E on the rocket body, not on the panel.
I don't think is a conscious decision, but rather a bug of some sort, it may be caused by certain resolution you play at?
Hey man, I just finished it and had a good time, thanks. Good work.
Can you do a Linux build? Or at least add the OpenGL renderer to the Windows build so we can play it with WINE?
Are you considering a Linux version? Or at least an Windows OpenGL build so that can be played with Wine ?
Partially working on SteamOS, but unfortunately the gun doesn't appear.
Looking forward for Linux support.
This very likely seems to be a bug in Amnesia (Linux) and not Necrologue.
Frictionalgames.com
Apologies to the Necrologue dev.
It constantly crashes at saving time on Linux.
Worked perfectly (including saves and performance) until I reached the sewers where the performance severely drops and started crashing.
Tried both the Steam version and standalone one (both 1.3) with the same results.
Come on man, what was that running ghost in the casino?:

Or here more clearly:
Is killing me :)
Hi, looking forward for this.
Played the demo for a bit on SteamOS and found some checkered textures:
OK, what the heck was that shadow in the casino?
Try this gameinfo.txt:
Pastebin.com
If anyone is still interested in playing this he can download it from here:
Uploadmb.com
Tested on both Windows and Linux (as of 1 Sept 2014).
Thanks for considering Linux.
Two issues so far:
The game doesn't start (in Linux) unless I copy "client.so" and "server.so" in "/courage/bin" (from Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer/sourcetest/bin)
Also the performance is relatively low. I can play source mods with hundreds of FPS (usually above 300), yet here I barely have around 70 FPS while sometimes dropping to 40, and this is happening in (my) Windows too.
Something is killing the performance.

Well, almost a year has passed, Linux version still missing
Hey, thanks for this. It worked so far (I barely started the mod).
You don't have to drain the room, just to stop those pipes from above to spill water.
Skip points 2 and 3 if you are using Windows, they are for Linux only.
I wouldn’t call it a fix but a way to start the game until is actually fixed.

Disable HDR on that level.
Disable HDR in that level and the pink texture will be gone.
Linux version is crashing as soon as I step into that crane/elevator.
No settings also, the mouse speed is way too high and I have only a cropped window with only part of the game visible.
For this game search the file gameinfo.txt (inside mod directory) and replace all its content with: Pastebin.com
The same fix could be used for Linux installations.
Credits goes to: Steamcommunity.com
Yes, it does. I used your gameinfo.txt posted on Steam forum, thanks.
Hei, thanks grefix, that is good to know.
The game does work indeed with a Xbox 360 controller (in Linux anyway).
I don’t know though if force feedback is implemented.
Still waiting for the Linux Version, any news?
