Fantasy and Sci-Fi games from the Deceased Superior Technician.
Went back to Target Defense 2 this morning. I can't believe it's been less than a year since I made the game. It seems so much longer.
It turns out I did learn something after all. Having written the game in a proper OOP style, I was able to come back to it after 8 months and immediately know what everything was, what it did, and when it was to do it.
Editing the game to add new features and to fix errors was pretty easy. It's now twice the game it was, and I'm even more proud of it.
What would really take the cake is a tiered money system - earning points to buy item slots over time, etc. etc. But this game is about getting a quick audio/visual experience, not collecting items.
Maybe next game.
