Regaring the enemy: There are enemies with a line of sight which will be active when you shoot them or if they see you. There are also enemies who are active from start.
Regarding saving: I totally agree that the saving in the current version is weak and i hope you will enjoy th new version where saving is improved.
Regarding Stecyl: Yes you are right. It has a lot limitations (no lighting engine for example) but i started the game with it and i am sure that i would not finish it changing the engine in between. I might use Unitiy in a succesor if players like this one.

I tried the latest demo and it realy is interesting.
Small feedback:
+ I like the voice acting and that the actor is commenting your actions
- I did not like that much text at the start. let me play first and or cut some text
The star background could move as well. I dont have the feeling of movmeent when i dont have ground obstacles in sight

Looks very interesting. Reminds me a bit of Mech Commander or do i get the wrong impression?
I enjoyed the last version a lot! It feels very polished and responsive.
One small comment: I was a bit confused that the floating bubble was an enemy. To me it locked like a collectable item.
One general question: How do you feel about giving the player the option to cicle weapons which he/she found or just activating the one which was found last? Especially in a fast paced platfomer?
