Brandon's musical education began in the fourth grade when he joined the school marching band, where he remained until he graduated high school. At Yuba Community College he studied for two years under Dr. Robert Mathews, a graduate of Peabody Musical Conservatory with a doctorate in Composition, and also continued studying the flute, his primary instrument, and guitar. Brandon's knowledge of Western artistic music allowed him to write a small opus which helped him get accepted into the Music BA program at University of California Santa Cruz, where he worked on his first video game, a senior exit project called The Hacker and The Heroine, for the flagship graduating class of the first University of California Game Design program.

It has been a really long time since I've updated anything. Basically, there hasn't been much to say! I've been searching for a job in the gaming industry making audio for games, but the job market in this industry is terrible right now for people who want to "break in." Even though the industry as a whole has been faring quite well despite the economic climate, this does not mean that every game studio in the industry is performing well. Lots of smaller studios are closing or being gobbled up by the giants of gaming, which basically means that only big names are viable employers. Unfortunately, this means that to get a job right now, you need at least 2 years of experience and a handful of shipped titles on your resume.

Damn it.

So, my brother and I decided to make a game ourselves! It's called Extreme Hugtime Simulation Challenge, and it's a parody of Japanese game shows for PC and Xbox Live Arcade. It's cute, fun, and silly, which all makes for a great casual game. Keep updated by visiting the boredom's products website!

You're probably referring to the concept art sketches on the Extreme Hugtime Simulation Challenge profile. Those were done by Sarah Cheney, a very talented anime and manga artist.
