One of the best Platform RPG type games around! Has superb hand drawn graphics, and surprisingly indepth RPG system. I found the story and humour a little amateurish but the gameplay itself more than makes up for that! I'm not terribly good at Castlevania kind of games but the difficulty curve with this game was practically perfect!

I agree, the levels are a little too dark, which is quite a strain on the eyes. Apart from that, I found the graphics and animations fantastic; it's easy to see the effort and love you've poured into the game from the great quality sprites. The difficulty is very nicely tuned and the weapons feel quite different so it's always fun getting a new one.

I'm not the best at 'roguelikes' so I found having to get through 10 levels without dying - and all in one sitting - a bit tiring; HOWEVER despite that, each level is quite compact so it's not TOO much of a chore. =)
