I now have a live stream running. If you are lucky you might see some behind the scenes clip of me modding but mostly you will see me playing certain games.

Hey, finally got around to playing through your mod "Endless Rain". I sent you a message with my review of it. Thanks for uploading!
I played your NWN module. Here's my feedback:
I think the necromancer enemy is too high level for a LV 5 character. It frightened mine away due to its fear ability and starting casting fireballs from afar while my character was scared. It's too overpowered and that fear ability is annoying since I don't think a LV 5 character can make a saving throw against it.
Further more, it's odd that the starting point is right next to the necromancer too. You should start in a safe area where you get the detail about what's going on. A traveler journeying to the castle and then seeing the undead is an ideal scenario. After he helps the guards slay the undead, they tell him about all that's going on and the reason why the undead are being summoned (the reason being is because of the necromancer I assume right?). You should also have more journal entries.
You said there were several quests but there was only one. I actually thought that after entering the cellar, things were going to go on down there and that everything was just starting but then it ended.
:(
I liked the overall feel of things though. The outside looked truly evil, the castle looked neat and inside was quite detailed. In other words, nothing was generic save for the crypt.
Basically, it just needs a few tweaks, then it'll be perfect. This is just the beta version though right?
P.S
I think you should use the script generator that JM_Scion told you about, I myself use this at times and it's very helpful and can get almost anything done.
I can see The Endless Rain being a great quick play through with just the few tweaks I mentioned.
Welcome to the group!
The variety of resources available to you is pretty huge, so it depends on what kind of mod you'd like to make. If you're just going for a straightforward new adventure, here's a list of tutorials that can get you started pretty quick (http://nwvault.ign.com/?dir=resources/tutorials). If you want to learn NWN scripting, begin with this tutorial set (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Movies.Detail&id=200) and definitely bookmark the NWN Lexicon (http://www.nwnlexicon.com/), which documents virtually every script function in the game along with a few hand tutorials.
There's also an automatic script generator that I found very useful early on. You can actually make a fairly complex mod with this generator alone. (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Other.Detail&id=625)
Happy New Year!
