Visit my Let's Play channel by clicking my homepage or finding ArcaneAria on YouTube! You can find let's plays of various games with lots of horror games and indie games of various kinds, as well as live translations of Japanese games into English! Open to recommendations! Be warned though, I don't get scared easily so even though they're horror games, generally I'll just be having a good time with ridiculous commentary!

This had one of the better stories out of many indie horror games I've played lately. The notes and details throughout the game did a great job letting us know of the decline of the MC. The elevator at the end was a clever hell indicator as well.

I know that this was a school project, but I felt the audio was a bit lacking. Some of the long hallways felt more tedious than terrifying with the silence and well-lit areas. Maybe the longer hallways could be a bit darker or having the monster pop-up very briefly? Also nix the shock images, you've proven you're better than that. The graphics were pretty spot-on for a cheap motel though, so props for that.

Hey, I gave the game a shot over at my channel here - Youtu.be

I enjoyed the lighthearted dialogue between the members of the Lordly family, really meshed well with the bright colors in the game to make it feel fun and relaxed opposed to dark and creepy. My favorite character though has to be the watering can which rolled and rolled into its own destiny (see video).

I got stuck after the falling ceiling, wasn't sure if I was supposed to crouch or go into ghost mode, didn't have much luck with either. Not sure if I missed something, but all the glowing things I saw (some hats, the tile in the room) didn't have a button prompt. I'll have to try some more to get past there since I could see there was more past that.

The placement of the journal button on the keyboard bugged me a bit since one hand was on the keyboard and the other was on the mouse. Might be worth having a button nearby WASD to hit, like R, for people who don't want to reach their hands over the keyboard. I'd put it on both that button and on J so that people can still find it by guessing keys if they forgot.

The ghost mode was pretty clever from what I saw of it, felt pretty smooth and was pretty unique being able to peer through the mansion and see where I could go before I could get there. Keep up the good work!

Hey, I gave the game a shot over on my channel here - Youtu.be

Pretty good visuals for a Slender game, I thought the graphics and the lighting were pretty spot on.

I'd feel more into the game if there were audio cues when Slender sees you, rather than only visual cues. That and Slender's creepy static faded in slowly when he approached, so without audio to make it creepier it just seemed like a gentle fade-in. Maybe a creepy laugh, static, innocent yet creepy music, etc. Audio confirmation when picking up a page would be good too.

I think adding more sound effects could really take the experience up a notch if done well. Keep up the good work!

Just finished playing and recording my playthrough here! Youtu.be (There may be 5 seconds of blank at the start of the video, that should be trimmed out once YT catches up)

I have to say, I really loved playing this game! Just the right mix of cuteness mixed with tense moments. I thought the levels were repeating, only to find that the path of the maze changed very slightly to throw me off, which was a great touch. Very subtle, funny, cute, and mildly horrifying! Looking forward to the finished product!

Just played this over at my channel! - Youtu.be

Why I enjoyed this game as much as I did, I have no idea. I bugged out near the end a bit, but it was a superb interactive narrative of one man/potato struggling against odds that were purely ***. I'll have to replay this later and see if I can get passed the undead church, not sure what I needed to do there. Keep up the awesome work!

Hey, I did a quick playthrough of your game and made a video of it on my channel - Youtu.be

The video didn't come out super well since I didn't realize the music was really loud compared to the mic but I tried to trim it down so it's not too long. It was a pretty fun game to play, but I beat it a little more easily than I'd like :P. I mention this in the video, but I find it strange that you lose your momentum if you let go of the directional keys. This allows you to jump over a platform then let go when you're on it, making a lot of the jumps a little too easy. Might be worth seeing how the game goes without that? That might break some puzzles though if you're not careful. More suggestions as a summary at the end of the video!

I had a lot of fun playing the game on my channel, you can find it here: Youtu.be

Very interesting concept, would definitely be improved with some better controls, such as not falling on your face all the time and being able to looking down :P I wasn't sure what to do with the forest animals, but I'll probably try to beat the game again later.
