I tried my best to finish base layout of the Island for this video. The nice thing about it this is only a base layout so it should only get better.

Yeah, it would be cool to have a rereleased version of LBA2.
In this remake, I try to improve a lot of flaws in LBA one and make it more approachable and fun :]
We will see how I will succeed with it

Sorry for late reply but recently I spend less time on promotion of project (even less than normally) and investing a lot more into the development. But I think this is ok because it is following your request : I still continue project and didn't gave up on it.

Glad that you found your way to this remake and you like it :] there will be a lot more content coming later this year (2019). For now I investing into development which in my opinion start to paying of :D

It won't be 1:1 remake. It will contain improved levels with changed layout. I will also make them "open world" in LBA2 style (you can walk around whole island). Story will also get some "tuning" and became more modern with filled up few gaps that were present in original game.

I fully agree I need to put more thoughts into mouse & keyboard control. This will be part of changes I working on right now.

I also didn't wanted to delay release because of UI. What you see was done as prototype and polished a little bit before release but still missing mouse support in menu and mouse & keyboard tips. But we will get there and even further... slowly :)

Yes I only support 64 bit version. About movement I agree that right now it's pretty bad. But this is my starting point and for next 1-2 months I will be almost exclusively work on improving this situation. But still in indoors you will have top down camera.

I also know this interaction issue and this is one of things I need to fix. So don't worry it's not Linux fault.

I put a lot of effort to make this island similar to original one :) Stuff will change a lot with 2nd island :)

I forgot to enable v-sync so probably because of that there is this jittering :P

PL: Projekt był "zrestartowany" w pewnym momencie bo zmieniamy trochę więcej niż stara grafika w pełnym 3D. Ogólnie ciężko powiedzieć ile procent jest zrobione ale idziemy do przodu.
Eng: Project was "restarted" at some point because we change a little bit more now than just porting old graphics to full 3D. About percent of progress it's hard to estimating but we move forward.

PL: Tak prace ciągle trwają :) dzisiaj nawet wypuściliśmy nowe video preview.
Eng: Yes works still continue :) Today we even release new video preview.

Thanks but what is not textured already will never be textured :P This objects are placeholders which need to be replaced with final mesh.
