I just hope the game won't be forgotten on Desura now it is on Steam.
I want to continue to access to updates with DRM FREE, no Steam

To the people who play on Linux : Do you have an access to the main menu (start, options etc...) ? I just see the background and music so I can't play :(

Everything you buy is not yours at all. Can you get them for you, burn them on CD or else to use it everywhere ? NO, you absolutely need to have Internet and you CAN'T download your games without Steam installed. On Desura, you can download .exe to keep them on a CD or HDD forever and no need Internet to install them or play them. If Steam change their contract, YOU MUST accept (because, remember... you bought one thousand games on Steam) so you are forced to accept or else you can't access any game you BOUGHT !!

What ? I see a lot of people fighting in the game ! Are you sure we are speaking about the same thing ?

Go and make Steam work behind a proxy then come back to speak with me :)
Thanks Desura, I been able to download the game to play offline. With Steam ? impossible !
And do not forget if you lose Internet when you are still in online mode, Steam f*ck you : You can't pass to offline mode until you get connected (How I get connected without Internet, stupid Steam !)

Steam just RENT there game, if you don't have Steam or if you don't agree their contract, you lose everything so excuse me but Steam are NOT safe at all. I prefer Desura so I can download and keep it for me, no need plateform or Internet to play

Come on !! I thought Desura will only let us buy free DRM games and now, we must have STEAM to play a game from Desura ?
I was ready to buy it if I can have it by Desura but that sentence stopped me. Thank you. But I don't want to rent a game, I want to buy it and that's why I am on Desura.

FrozenBytes finally love DRM, that's why they screwed us up.

Steam won. They accepted the very last version of Trine 2, Desura are not the same, they are like us. You willl never see Games 4 Windows games here with sick DRM. If FrozenBytes refuses to offer to players the free DRM, so Desura won't go foward with them and let the very last DRM-Free version. (That's all I think about the developers but... maybe I am wrong)

Desura doesn't accept my key and the official website only let me download the game on Steam or AppStore with links, but I am on Linux !!!
