Relapse Games Studios is in the process of developing its first game!!!!!!!!! But what does any game need? LEVELS!!!! And who makes those levels? Well you do of course!!! As a level designer, you'll be task with designing the scenes that you and ultimately; others will be playing. You'll be working on ShadowCircuit, a dark 2D runner and platformer. Though not meant to be challenging, it is to be creative.
Requirements:
Sample of Work
Ability to understand and use Flash (Software will be provided)
Able to work on project*
What we want from you:
Make with motivation and creativity. Don't make a level design just for the game. We are making an experience. Make something you'll be proud of. Something that you can look and say, "I made that and it's freaking awesome like Chief."
Committ!!!! Though easier said than done, this helps make good levels. Don't just trash everything, keep your chine up and the eyes and fingers moving to match your vision. if you don't like it, don't make it.
Fun!!!!! Look, we get it, you want to make a nice experience that's all good and said, but make sure that you enjoy it. While this is in the end supposed to be for others to play, make sure it's fun for you too. Make something that you'd sit down and look at and play. Don't be a Debbie-Downer.
