S O L is our development team, SOL team is working on a game called SOL - pretty straight forward. The game is inspired by mature themes, politics, race, gender, genetics, technology, covering many complex themes. We aren't worried about group size or work constraints. Although there is a particular kind of theme, but do not feel afraid to work outside those boundary lines and explore your talents and creativity whilst working on the SOL project.

SOL is a 'Remote Development Studio' focused on helping those that are interested in being a Game Developer get some experience by working with a team in an online environment. Experienced developers are also welcome to take advantage of being able to work from home, and help educate our future developers of the gaming industry.

We intend to make this a Free-Ware, 'free-to-play' high quality game in a competitive market and to advertise responsibly, so we can expect moderate-to-no profits, which is why the game would serve better as a free-ware title, so our team and members can receive more attention and recognition, and our subsequent sequel titles will have more attention brought to them. -What's happening in 2017 with SOL? (The plan of release of the actual game is quite a ways away, but we are rushing to a tutorial beta, and then an alpha.

Level Designer:
- Would be working on a StarWars on Earth and-or "Metal Gear Solid." style Genre of game, without aliens, lightsabers, and the force, similar to Dune, with an emphasis on humanity and genetics; along with being able to design another project from the ground up.
Game Designer:
- Mechanics, User Interface, Skills, Leveling System, Combat. Would be working on items listed above. One being in the sci-fi Genre, and the other being more in line with a open world game. Would be designing for Interactive Streaming Services, along with some other fun/cool things. (Like VR Projects)
Level Designer - 2D/3D Environments
Game Writer - Backgrounds, Lore, Stories, Quests, Dialogue

Writers and Editors - Looking for someone to come in and focus on dialogue, character characterization, backstory, et-cetera in our writing department. Writing up plots, backgrounds, class/races, skills, monsters, the usual excuses...
We are also very interested in finding our Departmental Leads by the end of this year, which are planned to grow into Full/Part-Time positions. The right person(s) for these positions should be self-driven and have a passion to work alongside of others that share in that passion. We're certainly looking for that drive to succeed attitude and "We" instead of "I" personalities.

We will be working with Patreon and-or Kickstarter after establishment of stable development - when things stabilize and we have got our feet moving in the right directions.

Target Platform:
-P.ersonal C.omputer, at the moment consoles are secondary, but perhaps in the future we will have ports for other consoles since Unity 5 provides those for free and with great ease.
The task right now is to create a skeleton, a foundation, and fully conceptualize the art, feel, theme, tone, and storyline of the game, to streamline, but to work on quality over quantity and make a stable story, we aren't rushing the quality of the project. Once you work on the project it becomes as much yours, as it is the teams as well. It is a challenging position. The game has been worked on for about a year and is in it's conceptual phases as of right now.

PLOT DETAILS:
--SOL, is a metaphorical game. More created as allegory and as a kind of social commentary, on real world issues, and events. Kinda like how the X-men were created as a metaphor for inequality, but this will be different of course, X-men was an example, not a great one.

The game delves heavily into the subjects of prejudice, war, and genetics. I am not quite sure if you are okay with those topics, and it is completely fine if you are not, or wish to challenge yourself, or want to be on the project just to give moral support and say hello to everyone, or to help work to make the project a living one..? I am somewhat of a concept artist myself, but need help, the rest of the team including the very talented motley-crew of musicians, and designers would love more artists to join and create a tangible vision of this game.
The The story follows multiple characters, there is one 'main' character however.
The game deals primarily with genetics, race, the idea of what perfection is and what that means to as a human, , is there an end to it, socially genetically, culturally, economically, is there an end to it and the pursuits and the melancholic quests of people and the journeys they go through to reach that destination and how others and the world reacts to that. War and war-crimes are a theme as well as prison, insanity, and the affected lives and outcomes of other characters within the story.-The plot timeline spans from 1980-2001, an outline is finished, but storyboarding for other quests, plots, and characters is always underway.
In summation about plot, the game follows a character's life and story up until it ends or moves on, and them after their chapter the next chapter begins with a new character whose life was affected by the last.

The goal is to make a game and a gaming studio. Making our first title be a free-ware, free-to-play game, because I want to make games to make a great game that players can enjoy and to get our studio attention so people no matter what their economic situation,

We are starting small and growing up, we are conceptualizing the game, and building our world and designing it from the ground up, in an orderly an orderly and safe manner. We are here to make games, to do what we love, and to invent.
