What's the project?

This video game will be produced within UE4. It will be a fast-paced 3rd person action shooter which will be taking inspiration from previously released titles.

It is my plan to re-invent a game that I was addicted to for a very long time. The game I'm talking about is called Gunz Online.

Gunz was a very fun and competitive game with amazing gameplay which was born through countless glitches found by the gaming community itself. The developers refused to patch out the glitches in the game because it gave the game much more popularity. Over several years, the game ultimately failed and was shut down because of the lack of new content added to the game and it was very hard for new players to get into the game because of the huge skill gap between new and existing players.

It is my goal to create a game with similar gameplay aspects as Gunz while also being innovative to the genre. It will also be my goal to build a very high quality of gameplay. One example of quality of gameplay I hope to achieve would be Black Desert Online. Gameplay link: Youtube.com

Some of the game modes to be included:
Team Death Match, Free For All, Capture the Flag, 2v2,3v3,5v5 Clan War, and any other fun game modes we can come up with. If the game ends up being popular enough, I would look into expanding it into an MMORPG.

What are my experiences?

I am an aspiring self-taught video game developer. Most of my experience is programming UE4 with Blueprints and I am currently learning how to program the engine with C++. I also have some experience in Mudbox for character modeling, and Motionbuilder for creating animations. I also made a decent prototype for a horror game 100% by myself within 3 months. Link: Youtube.com I will not be pursuing the completion of this horror game in the near future because it is not of my top priority.

What development roles are needed?

1-2 Environmental Artists for creating maps.
1 Sound Engineer for creating background music and sound effects.
1 UI designer
1 UE4 Cascade artist for creating visual effects.
1-2 3D modelers for character design and sword/gun designs.
1 3D Rig/Animator to help with creating fluent gameplay.

Not all of these roles have to be filled by someone to have the game completed. If you do not see your specialty listed, but you still want to offer help, please let me know by email.

The job offers are completely voluntary up until we have enough high quality content to post on kickstarter to start bringing income. The estimated time of development to reach that point is 1 year. I am not requiring you to rush the development of content. You will be working at your own pace.

What experience is required?

I am requiring very little experience. If you really want to do this, you will download the necessary software and teach yourself with youtube or other websites such as digitaltutors. This is an opportunity to get you your dream career, but you have to be patient and put in continuous effort.
