I am the game director of a newly formed game development company called Ascension Entertainment LLC. We are taking our popular HL2 mod retail and we need a modeler/texture artist with experience in Blender. Specific models you would be texturing/tweaking are characters, weapons and map assets.
We already have a small team together to make a playable feature limited demo (2 programmers, 1 modeler, 1 animator, 2 concept artists, 1 audio effects engineer and 1 music composer) but we need a new texture artist for the models (make UV map, fix up tris and do minor changes to the model if necessary).
We've made progress in that we have the storyline and the features fully written out, a very complex 3D skybox model is 95% done, 1 character and 1 weapon model, all the character and weapon concept art as well as a few map asset concept art finished.
We're in the pre-funding stage so you cannot be paid, but pending successful Kickstarter funding we would hire you for full time work.

- Experience with Blender (UV Mapping, Baking, Adding/Removing Geometry)
- Experience with creating textures
- Highly creative
- Passion for science fiction elements (advanced technology, alien lifeforms, alien landscapes, etc.)
- English as first/primary language
- 18 years and older
