We need your help!!

We are Forged Chaos and we are developing Trials of Ascension: Exile, a "Host Your Own" multi-player fantasy sandbox game for the PC where you can host your own private island, set the rules as you see fit, and invite others to share the experience as you all help build a community as humans, go on the prowl as the spider-like Raknar, or defy all odds to grow as a powerful dragon!

As you can see by our public facing roadmap, we have a solid set of functioning features with progress being made each week. We are open about our progress and invite the public to watch as we post and complete our user stories (we run agile development) on the roadmap.

Our most recent build includes server selection, character creation, dynamic spawning of flora and minerals, basic combat, a full-on inventory system, swap-able items and armor, survival mechanics (eating, drinking, fatigue, etc), flora and mineral harvesting, death and re-spawning, corpse looting, skills foundation, naming and much more, all running on a relatively stable network code base.

You would be joining a team of twelve capable fun-loving folks that have been working together for a long time now. In joining us you can expect a fleshed out game design document, an internal wiki, multiple communication tools including a Slack channel where we chat daily, and a weekly voice meeting via Skype with the whole team where we discuss needed topics then proceed to hack each other into bits as we test the latest builds.

Our work process couldn't be simpler. We block out time into two week increments, called Sprints, where you set your own goals and are expected to complete them or show real effort in doing so. In return for all your hard work, we offer a generous revenue share that increases with the more time and effort you put into the project. The details of the contract, our projections and goals will only be discussed with qualified applicants.
