The idea of a Living Comic Book generally strikes a chord with those used to the many visual novels you can buy in today's vast Steam catalogue.

Thankfully, this is not that.

What I am looking for is a programmer (language to your preference) who is capable of developing a game engine that follows a similar path to interactive visual novels, but completely changes the game. The engine will be made commercially available as well as an in-house game made using the engine to showcase what can be made.
The game has already been scripted and aims at a length of near 2 hours.

A living comic book follows the format of comic book panes but to a whole new extent.
With panes having scenes that play out (played via GIFs or video files) alongside audio.
With effects such as panes that slide into preset positions, fade in, and more.
All this and more in a convenient user friendly interface, clearly showing where your story branch is, author notes, and other convenient visual aspects.

Your pay will be royalty, for both the engine and the game that sell.
Please email me with any questions in case post is not informative enough.
