Reach Game Studios is looking for a talented arnimator to join and lead the Animation and In-Game Cinematics team for the studio's upcoming online FPS RPG, GLORY.
Responsibilities:
As a lead animator you will be responsible for:
* Working with the Design Director to shape the key themes and requirements for animations and cinematics.
* Working with the Lead Technical Director to shape the technical requirements of animations.
* Rigging and animating characters (bi-pedal, quad-pedal and beyond!) and other 3D models as required, paying close attention to technical requirements whilst producing high-quality animations.
* Importing animations in-engine and using engine tools to create animation trees.
* Working with your team to develop and design proven methodologies for creating and importing animations.
* Collaborating with the art department as required to achieve desired outcomes.
* Fostering a great culture within your department.
Requirements:
For this role we are looking for:
* 3+ years experience in rigging and animating (a showreel is required for this position).
* Familiarity with the Unreal Engine preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of Autodesk Maya and other software.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent team-working and leadership skills.
* A passion for videogames, science fiction, RPGs, and/or shooters preferred.
Remuneration:
The position is currently a contract royalty-based position, with view to full-time employment post-launch. Contract amount is competitive and negotiable.
