Concept Artists job

You will be required to draw concepts of environments, characters and props within the game world. These concepts will then be used as the foundation to later develop the art of the game. Without giving away too many details, the game is a first person puzzle/adventure game set in the trenches of WW1, on either the British or German side. This is a passion project as we are all historically minded here at Absurdium, if you're interested in modern history or simply desire to work on a video game, please apply.

The game will not be a shooter in the regular sense and will focus on the side of war not many are familiar with, the propaganda. The player will be faced with various scenarios and objectives and must accomplish them to proceed. That is all I can say, if you wish to know more please contact us.

We require a concept artist so that we have something to present on a Kickstarter campaign. This will be a gamble and it is not recommended if you are looking for reliable work. However, if you have free time and wish to lend a hand to a starting game development company, we'd be glad to have your help. If the Kickstarter campaign is a success you will be paid and possibly kept on payroll if you can.
