3D Artist & Particle FX Artists

- Want to work on a title that is redefining the possibilities of multi-player gaming?
- Does a challenge rush blood through your veins and encourage you to get out of bed?
- Can you match our team's dedicated drive to hit our 2016 deadline?

Inkfish is a highly professional London based indie-game studio made up of 9 talented, chirpy individuals with good connections in the games industry.

We are in charge of our own destiny and have a solid business strategy in place and excellent incentives for staff working on the launch of our debut title EONWAR; a concept lightly touched on in Robocop's "NUKEM" back in 1987, and one that unashamedly torments us with its delay until completion.

Join us and help define a new genre in video gaming and open up your opportunities within the industry!

After more than a year in development an exciting opportunity to work with our talented team in a lead or support role, has opened.

This vacancy is for both an experienced 3D artist with proficient knowledge in Maya, 3DS Max, Mudbox or other leading applications or a Particle FX Artist, both of which can complete tasks in good time.

You are able to demonstrate a solid understanding of best modelling practices and ideally have worked on at least 2 previous titles. You should be a serious gamer and understand what makes a decent title as this will become pertinent to the work you supply.

You will be required to work on an already established game with strong art, design and management support. The principle job role:

For 3D Artist: is to create 3D models that range from Infantry, tanks and fighters provided by the 2D art team and realise them using your skills to make them look as sexy as possible.

For Particle FX Artist: to add extra realism to our models and help realise the beautiful galaxy and its many planets using your mad wizadry skills.

Each role has clearly defined tasks and your involvement will ensure that we hit our milestones in good time.

Inkfish prides itself on its collaborative work philosaphy, where communication within the team is key, reserved artists that lurk hidden away, deep in the shadows need not apply. It is crucial you work well in a team as you will need to communicate with other team members to minimise errors even if English is not your first language, communication plays a big part in our project's success and you will be urged to keep us all updated. We don't bite so don't worry, we are all gamers... like you!
