We are a small hobby team making a demo in the style of old Baldur's Gate games.
Ultimately i dream of a heavily philosophy based story and event driven game with highly strategic battles. But for now we are just making a small demo with about 10-15 minutes of game play. This will be tested on the public and we can see if it can become more than a hobby.
The demo consists of the following:
The player assumes control of a small child on an oasis in the desert. A humongous spire mountain protrudes from the ground and fuels a waterfall and river which surrounds you creating a little island. The child plays and interacts with the flora and fauna in the idyllic environment until near the end of the river where they are attacked by a drunken, violent father. Cut to some time later and after an intense dream, the child must choose to kill the sleeping father or forgive him.
