Indie developer Black Lodge Games has spent the last 6 years working on an epic science fiction role playing game called Daath Galaxy. Now with IndieGoGo, the developer is trying to find funding to do full voice acting for the entire game. The first trailer of the game was recently unveiled to not only make people aware of the game itself, but also to make people aware that Daath Galaxy is now on both Steam Greenlight as well as IndieGoGo.com.
Breaking news exclusive to IndieDB.com, Daath Galaxy will possibly feature one industry veteran, John Dick, the iconic voice of Serious Sam, who has tentatively signed on to do the voices of the main villains, the evil reptilian alien race called the Draconians, although full details have not been arranged yet. This news comes shortly after the launch of Daath Galaxy on Steam Greenlight, IndieGoGo, and the first video trailer for the game.
Daath Galaxy was developed in conjunction with a strategy guide, which will be available in both physical and digital editions. The game was developed with the Strategy Guide functioning as the game's design specifications. It was also necessary because Daath Galaxy is a deep role playing game with many complexities and options. For example, there are over 50 starships in the game, each with 3 strength variations. All 50 ships can be boarded by the player, and then the player can choose to kill the crew, sabotage vital parts of the ship, take over the ship, or even make friends if the situation is just right. There are multiple ways to deal with almost anything in the game. This is not the only area where Daath Galaxy provides massive content, with over 4000 planets spread through 6 galaxies, all handcrafted in high definition, and that's just the tip of the asteroid.
