Error Failed to resolve Item name from id number? Thread - Desura

Hi I really need some help everytime I try installing something it comes up with this any one know want to do?

I get that too.

And all the games are gone from my the list of my games.
Only the one that are installed are shown there.

I'm getting:

Failed to resolve item name from id number.

Error (https://api.indiedb.com/api/itemnamelookup) [failed to connect to 2406:bd00:de00:de00::10: Network is unreachable] [58.7]

I got the same error message. Only games that are already installed can be played. If I look on my gamelist with the desura app, all games are not intalled are disappeared from the list. Looking over the internetbrowser the gamelist seems complete. It would be nice if these errors could be solved quickly.

Same here! Just trying Desura for the firsat time after getting Indie Gala Mobile 3.

Here it is in the Client repeating every minute:

11:54 Failed to get login items: Couldn't resolve host name (https://api.indiedb.com/1/memberdata) [Could not resolve host: api.indiedb.com; No data record of requested type] [58.6]

Update: Verified DNS is only returning an IP V6 address:

At least on my system, the Desura game client is resolving only an IPv6 address for api.desura.com.

C:\Users\me>nslookup api.desura.com
Server: my.router
Address: 192.168.1.1

Name: api.desura.com
Address: 2406:bd00:de00:de00::10

Just for kicks, I edited my hosts file and assigned the current IPv4 address (67.215.65.132) to api.desura.com and restarted Desura. That produces a different error message.

This is really annoing. I have started with Desura today and I am getting crash on every corner of it. I hope downloading will work soon, after that I will recommend Desura to my friends because is full of awesome games and mods. (Sorry for grammar, english is not my native language...)

You have NO IDEA how god damn happy I am to know that its not just me. NO IDEA. I'v been thinking I was the only one with the issue, but now I can finally relax because we're all F'd., not just me.

Yup. Same error. Was just trying to install Claustrophobia - The Downward Spiral. Sigh.
