Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning.

It's a multi-platform (windowsmaclinux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth.

The game sports a varietyof different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Just a heads up guys, our server provider will be moving the main game server over to another rack sometime tomorrow. This will likely cause a downtime of a couple of hours during which the game will be totally inaccessible.

Apologies for this! This should hopefully move the server over to a more stable connection, so better for the long run!

We'll get everything back up and running ASAP.

It is a development build - optimization is the last thing we are worried about at the moment. That will be dealt with further down the line.

As with all graphics issues, can you give system stats? That sounds almost certainly like your graphics card is below par.

Yeh looking at at the spec's that should be fine. I'll have a look into it when I'm back from work.

Odd though, there is only really one way to interpret the error, it's when opengl is failing to allocate the FBO using for rendering.

Can you post a forum thread please so I can keep track of this.

This game was pretty fun, joined one of the few available hosts and just started killing with the two other players. Right after I got rank 5 (I think), the game crashed for no reason, with no message. I'll play again later on and hope it does not happen again. I enjoyed it for the 10 mins I got to play though :).

This is a really entertaining game even at this early stage. It's an interesting mix of genres and I can't wait to see how it develops.

I've made a showcase of the game and it's current feature set on my channel here Youtube.com .
