Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning.

It's a multi-platform (windowsmaclinux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth.

The game sports a varietyof different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Just a heads up guys, our server provider will be moving the main game server over to another rack sometime tomorrow. This will likely cause a downtime of a couple of hours during which the game will be totally inaccessible.

Apologies for this! This should hopefully move the server over to a more stable connection, so better for the long run!

We'll get everything back up and running ASAP.

Could you please add a normal singleplayer mode to the game ? I started to have problems with port forwarding since i removed my router. And now i can't play offline anymore. I can garantuee you that i'm not the only one having problems with port forwarding.

It's a multi-player only game, there isn't meant to be a single player :3. Port forwarding should be a non-issue if running locally, the only problem is playing truely offline as the master-server can't be contacted (I'll add some kind of fallback system if this happens in future versions).

Simply put; you have to have an online connection when playing.

If playing by myself is not a port forwarding issue, then what could it be? I always get this error when trying to host a server and play:
"Unable to connect to the server. Server may be experiencing difficulties, or may bo offline for maintence"

Something is blocking it. That message is only shown if no socket connection can be made to the server (which would be localhost if your hosting). I would look at your firewalls and AV a bit more :3.

That occurs when it can't communicate with the master server, which is responsible for checking updates/listing servers/etc.

Do you have a firewall or anything that could be blocking it's connection attempts? (master server requests are sent to Twindrills.com)
