It has finally happened! From today you can sneak a peek at your own personal diving base with the first playable, code-named Stage 0, that we have launched on www.divegame.net.

What are you waiting for? Dive in and don't hesitate to invite your friends to show off your awesome diver, because multiplayer is supported up to 4 players.

What is Stage 0?

Stage 0 is an early playable game build that we will grow and develop over time, allowing a small studio such as ours to release the game in manageable chunks, while at the same time giving you the chance to get involved from very early on.

(For those of you who are wondering about what happened to the swimming pool demo, this is it although we have scaled up our initial plans for it quite a bit - *surprise!*)

We have made available Stage 0, a first playable, to give you a first impression of what you can expect in the future and because it creates an opportunity for us as a development studio to start an open, informed dialogue with you - our most important players.

You'll notice that at the start of your play session, you will have the opportunity to vote on some features that you would like to see implemented next. Use your voice!

What is Stage 0 not?
We would like to emphasize yet again that Stage 0 is not meant to be representative of what World of Diving will have on offer in its final stages – neither in scope nor feature completeness.

What can I do in Stage 0?
Stage 0, which is playable with both the Oculus Rift and a traditional monitor, lets you dive in with up to 4 friends, to give your customized character a spin in your own personal diving base (soon customizable), and to get a first taste of what the upcoming underwater experience that is World of Diving will entail.

At this moment World of Diving: Stage 0 is only playable on PC, but we are working hard to launch Mac and Linux support as soon as possible. You can play with both the Oculus Rift and a traditional monitor. You can go ahead and download World of Diving: Stage 0 immediately on www.divegame.net.
Note: At this moment World of Diving: Stage 0 is only playable on PC, but the team is working hard to launch Mac and Linux support as soon as possible.

Enjoy and don't forget to let us know your thoughts on the forums!
