Wolfram essentially is a graphical update to the original Wolfenstein 3D created by id software. Splendidly, the game stays extraordinarily close to the original material; the updated graphics and animations enhance rather than hinder the experience. It is a pleasure to re-live nostalgic moments through HD glasses.
Although it is neither a mod nor a remake, this 'update' to Wolfenstein 3D is still fun to play and fun to look at.
Much thanks to the creator of Wolfram.

Thank you so very much, Xaerox.
My wife loved playing Wolfenstien 3D on the N64 years ago and asked me a couple of days ago if she could play it on my PC.
I found yours and we love it!
9 levels is plenty for her since she will never get through all of them.
Yes, I found you in the game. ;>
Suggestions:
An option to reverse the look up and down with the mouse.
Aiming left right with the keyboard, which I prefer, is too coarse for my taste.
Also perhaps pressing the "page down" to level the aim as in DN3D would be a good thing.
Is a lack of resources one of the main reasons you will not continue work on more episodes? Would donations help?
Well, yes, donations would be nice stimuli to continue the work. But I guess there are too few fans that will be eager to pay for such amateur projects.
Then I guess it's just a matter of expanding your fan base :) After which, you can set up a donations page that I would love to contribute to! Is there a facebook page about Wolfram? I'm definitely gonna spread the word!
There is a web page (http://wolfram.hlfx.ru).
And this page (moddb/indiedb).
You can spread it using the "share" buttons on both pages, to post a tweet, or a facebook record, whatever. :)
There are no dedicated facebook pages, but anyone can create some. I don't use the facebook actually.
Great work, blends modernity and nostalgia perfectly. How about a Doom remake?
Thank you! There is a plenty of high-quality Doom remakes. :) Wolfenstein3D lacked for such, that was why Wolfram had been created.
I know a lot of source ports with widescreen and better particles exist, but I have yet to find an actual remake in the style of Wolfram. I'm still just fine with the original, but it would be cool to have a version of Doom with modern graphics and mechanics. Also, is it possible to mod Wolram at all? I might make a weapon sound mod, if it's possible.
Yes it is possible, except the code (the source code was not released). Just unpack the vpk archives with your favourite zip archiver and modify the sounds. To distribute the mod, you should pack them either in a modname.vpk (preserving the relative directory structure), or create a "full" mod in a separate folder with own gameinfo.txt (and then the mod will be available within the "Mods" menu).
