October 8th, Midnight. age 26:

A faint defining line of the island appears as you approach the eerie land mass enshrouded by fog. The way the sharp jagged rocks sit by the bay and ward off outsiders in the other direction is nothing but reminiscent of the island he described. He... your uncle, a mysterious man to boot. Never here nor there but always present. He taught you more than you know, and the secrets of his estranged departure will not be left unheard. His story still burning in your mind, a flame of wonder that will only be doused when you are six feet under. The tale of the malevolent creature, with fur darker than death, and eyes as red as the blood that drains from its victims.

Werewolf Island is an open world horror/supernatural, first-person game for Windows, Linux, Mac and Wii-U in maturation by Sinn Development. It's the story of Victor Lupus, whom inherits his uncles private island after missing for seven years. With a longing desire to discover what truly happened to his uncle, Victor unknowingly exposes himself to the enigma of Satanism.

We're going to be doing an AMA on reddit.com/r/vita! Come join us this Saturday!I'll be there answering questions about pretty much everything on PS Vita and development in general.

Hmm, Oh! I forgot to say that there is a new platform Werewolf Island is going to be on, PS VITA!We're going to be working extremely heavily on Werewolf Island over the next year, as we have a few surprises in store!

We are now on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U (NO ETA), and PC/Mac/Linux!

We've been in development for a year or so now, but have yet to decide on a concrete release date! We'll have a better idea this summer. Keep posted :D

We have a development halt atm, due to some plugin issues.
Hopefully to have it fixed and ready for streaming soon.

I am sorry if the following questions can't be answered yet but I would imagine you have an idea of where the game is going, and in game development things can change based on user feedback or suggestions/creative criticism or just new ideas that happen along the way... anyways. With this being a "open-world" horror/supernatural game, is "player" death a possibility or are you just going for the scare factor ? If death is a possibility are there plans (I don't know how the game will play or how the mechanics will work) to make perma-death an option? If so maybe with a scoring system to weigh your attempt? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Much of what you're asking will be undisclosed, but no, mostly - death is not an option unless you end up jumping off the highest cliff or drown yourself.

The fear-factor of the game is a build up, the farther you play, the more suspenseful it will be.
