October 8th, Midnight. age 26:

A faint defining line of the island appears as you approach the eerie land mass enshrouded by fog. The way the sharp jagged rocks sit by the bay and ward off outsiders in the other direction is nothing but reminiscent of the island he described. He... your uncle, a mysterious man to boot. Never here nor there but always present. He taught you more than you know, and the secrets of his estranged departure will not be left unheard. His story still burning in your mind, a flame of wonder that will only be doused when you are six feet under. The tale of the malevolent creature, with fur darker than death, and eyes as red as the blood that drains from its victims.

Werewolf Island is an open world horror/supernatural, first-person game for Windows, Linux, Mac and Wii-U in maturation by Sinn Development. It's the story of Victor Lupus, whom inherits his uncles private island after missing for seven years. With a longing desire to discover what truly happened to his uncle, Victor unknowingly exposes himself to the enigma of Satanism.

Hey there guys!

Months have flown by, seems as though this project is just speeding faster than your grandma on coffee!

We've been quite busy, the development of Werewolf Island has taken a bit of a slow run for now, as Jamie is working on @Infinity_Runner, an arcade based game that should release early next year (indieDB page will be posted soon). We'd like to put something on the market before we release Werewolf Island, mainly to see how everyone responds to our media and content so when we release our larger budget project, WWI, we're not going to have issues. All profits from Infinity Runner will drive themselves directly into the development of Werewolf Island.

During the early stages of development for Werewolf Island, we've managed to attain development rights for various consoles. Upon release, this puts us in an amazing position, giving us a larger target market for possible online game-play!

Much of this was me mainly blabbing, but make sure you're staying tuned for more specific updates here in the future!

We're looking at putting together some new content for you guys ;)

~ Liam

This is the first real version of the game that we are willing to release to the public, as the current progress is much greater we feel that it will...

I like the idea of the game. Also the design of the werewolf. And we're waiting for updates. Good luck!

We have a development halt atm, due to some plugin issues.
Hopefully to have it fixed and ready for streaming soon.
Sorry for the wait.

That will eventually come, the dev kits are pricey, and I need to wait until I can get some money to buy them.

I am sorry if the following questions can't be answered yet but I would imagine you have an idea of where the game is going, and in game development things can change based on user feedback or suggestions/creative criticism or just new ideas that happen along the way... anyways. With this being a "open-world" horror/supernatural game, is "player" death a possibility or are you just going for the scare factor ? If death is a possibility are there plans (I don't know how the game will play or how the mechanics will work) to make perma-death an option? If so maybe with a scoring system to weigh your attempt? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Much of what you're asking will be undisclosed, but no, mostly - death is not an option unless you end up jumping off the highest cliff or drown yourself.

The fear-factor of the game is a build up, the farther you play, the more suspenseful it will be.

I completely understand and thanks for the quick response. I'm sure I will have more questions down the road. Thanks again.

I can finally answer this, as we have enough progress to guaruntee a result.
1. Yes, it is one of the most important factors.
2. As soon as you die, you will not be able to play again, until you relaunch that is.
3. There is a scoring system, that behaves like this:
Players get points based upon the time it took to complete the game, perfect will be 1000, and will literally be next to impossible. You will lose 5 points per minute it took to complete the game. If you die, no points are counted, and you have to retry.
