Yes, you heard it right! The charming voxel-art puzzler Way of the Knight is soon coming to Windows, Mac and Linux. We are confident that this slightly-over-casual puzzle game will suit the PC gaming market really well, so get ready to finish the road to safety!

We plan to release Way of the Knight totally DRM-free in the Humble Store, with part of the proceeds going to charity.
If you have any tips or requests on other distribution channels, please let us know in the comments section below!

While we work hard to finish the last tweaks we wanted to share some more details on how we ported this Android/iOS game for the computer market:
The game was created using Unity, so building for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (further referred to as PC) was pretty straight forward. However, the game still needed several tweaks, mainly related to the GUI. Our game was originally designed for smart phones, with comparably small screens. Thus, most GUI elements were previously designed to cover a large portion of the screen, for good visibility even on very small screens. When changing to a 24" PC screen everything would look huge, so the whole GUI was scaled down to compensate. Some examples are shown below:

1. Added an exit button. (this was not present in the mobile build, by common convention)
2. Scaled down GUI elements to suitable size on a PC screen.
3. Adapted zoom distance to allow zooming out further for a better overview.

I've tried it and have to say I really enjoyed it! It is clever, fast and difficult without being too difficult.

Think you got an answer already in private, but I'll let you know here as well for others having the same question.

The software used for the voxel art is Minddesk's Qubicle.

Thanks! The GUI demonstrated so far is just prototype art for the beta and will be revamped in the final version. Stay tuned ;)
