Some new "Game-O-Pics" just arrived and my aren't they spesh!

Posted by SquidInABox on Apr 18th, 2010

Welcome back! Have you lost weight? No? Well you look wonderful anyway. I'm afraid this will have to be a flying visit today as I have an appointment with the President of Burundi.

The eggheads at head office have sent me these rather interesting Game-O-Pics showing their early work on what they are calling the "Display That Shows Information Of Great Import" or the DTSIGI for short.

They asked me to stress that these are very early pictures and so on blah blah. Here have a look and see what you think.

I think they are rather spiffy although I'm not too sure what it all means. But I am just a humble Marketing Executive and not about to make things up just to cover my inadequacies.

They sent this note as well that says "We wanted to keep important information where the player is actually looking rather than stuff it around the edges of the screen like some kind of smelly tramp."

I'm not so sure what it is they have against tramps - salt of the earth in my opinion. Some of my best friends are tramps after all.

Oh is that the time? Well see yourself out but I have to rush. One doesn't keep the President of Burundi waiting. Tattybye!

That's nice, But looking at the screenshots you could really use a space-ish background there. It would make the whole thing much more nice to the eyes since that "outer glow" may kill people...just kiddin, keep the nice job on this! Im totally loving the hud and Slow-mo features! It would be nice to zoom in the camera when you slow-mo the game too...That would make you have a reduce of visibility, but making easy to avoid near objects/enemies.

I like the idea of zooming in during slowmo. I shall have to try that out at some point.
