A futuristic wild west, Warm Gun combines the favorite motifs of the classic western genre with the scraps of an obliterated technocracy. World War III has been fought to the tipping point and ecologists long unheeded cries have been silenced by the grim truth of their predictions. To the last drop of oil have the worlds resources been depleted, and only sporadic traces of modern structure can be sifted in the dust. Time ticks forward but humans must retrace their advancement back, through a history that has already been lived and to the Wild West for the second time around. We have trampled ahead to the past in muddy boots, to the United States of late 19th century. Greeted by the ghost of the wide-open country, the exhausted land is barren too, of all the old dreams we fulfilled beyond our means. This spun western lets you create your own one-of-a-kind characters and unique gangs; choose from weapons new and strange and a wider range.

Expected to release summer 2011, Warm Gun is a post-apocalyptic shooter, with a spun western edge. So thats the scoop, thats where we have been hiding for the past few months. It's been a real long haul to get to this point, and it feels good to post some new media here on Indie DB. So without rambling too much lets get to the screens.

The first group of photos feature iPod Touch 4th Gen.
In the first shot you can see the 49er taking some lead.

To round out the iPod screenshots I thought we would give you a look at the character select. For this screen you can see we have the 49er selected. Just tap on any character to see his weapon load-out, tap again to spawn as that character.

Would you guys be making this for Android at all? I notice alot of mobile + PC games seem to be ignoring that platform...

Would be nice to see someone make some good indie games for the Android that can stick out. This one would definitely be one (heck, it'd be the Android TF2, in comparison to most of what I've seen them get in the app stores).
