The most recent development video covers recent improvements to Vigilantes, and a play-through of the third alpha mission. Skip ahead to 2:30, if you'd just like to see the game in action. Most of the recent work has been on polish, balancing, and bug fixes, with the later most heavily concentrated in the most complex systems in the game: AI and inventory.
While no single large feature has been implemented, the combination of many the small adjustments really adds up when playing the game, to the point that I'm happy enough with progress to release the alpha very soon, along with a couple of tutorials to get you started in Reiker.
