I've been releasing commentary tracks where I play through Venusian Vengeance and provide commentary. I discuss topics ranging from the level design and progression to the aesthetics and story. I just released the 10th and final installment of the series. To celebrate, I've decided to reduce the price of the game to $3.99 USD. You can watch the first installment of the commentary here:

Just bought this game.... is there any way to play full screen? It opens up in a window, and when I maximise it the game is in a square in the top-left corner.

How is that an alternate history? Isn't that what happened?

...Colonized Venus... That means there are communists living on Venus.

You don't actually think people went and just setup little houses on a desolate, un-inhabitable planet.. Right?

Of course not it would be pretty preposterous if it was just a little house.
They brought giant space farms and stuff how else do you think they survived the first winter?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of future fantasy and pulp-adventure, but you can only remake/recombine Star Wars and Aliens so many times...

With how many Sci-Fi themed games there are , I'm hard pressed to find many that explore ideas in the way Golden Age/New Wave Sci-Fi did.

And it's pretty telling that games like Bioshock and Spec Ops would catch up years later with (more clumsy) exploration of the same ideas.

Not to mention how it does a great job of building a genuine sense of dread and paranoia. With notes of Phillip K. Dick and Moorcock.

Either the rumor will add a quest to your list, in which case it's something, or it won't, in which case it's nothing.

So it removes the wonder of hearing a rumor, investigating, and finding something there for you to do.
