The glowsticks were a design decision, we've considered flashlights before but decided not to go that route. Thanks for the feedback though, there's definitely more to come in future updates!

I'm sorry you're having trouble, indiefreak. Can you give us your computer specs? Also could you send us the file or the content of the file "output_log.txt" which is inside the folder "Vanish_a0.2a_Data" so we can debug it. You can send the information to 3DrunkMen@gmail.com

Ok thanks :)
I'll probably check it and send you the info sometime..and well my computer specs isn't all that great..I will admit that *sigh* (maybe it has something to do with the graphics card?), but I never encountered such problems while playing other unity games like slender the arrival or curse of the aztecs.
So I'm a little confused.

I really enjoyed this. A fairly simple premise that seems to be executed beautifully. I'm very much looking forward to what else will be added.

So turns out registered users get a lot more mirrors. That might be the best solution for the time being.

So.. If you did it with unity free/indie.. how did you do those light effect? I mean some kind of "light fog". This game looks like unity pro. And the vignette, when monster attacks you.

3DrunkMen Jul 5 2013, 10:23am replied:

Thanks for the compliments :) The lights just use a lens flare to add the 'fog' around it and it uses a cookie that casts the (fake) shadow, since we can't use dynamic shadows.

Our artist used Strumpy's Shader Editor, a download for Unity3D, to create a new parallax normal shader. It utilizes Diffuse, an overall Normal Map, a Detail Normal Map (to get those small bumps), Specular, and Parallax Mapping (to make the bricks pop off the wall). Strumpy's Shader Editor is an excellent tool and is the backbone of our great looking game.
