A 2D science fiction tower defense game. Based on Löve2d/Lua, with pre-rendered 3D graphics and some light/shadow effects and a lot of postprocessing shaders. It started as a "48 hour game jam" game in which we actually took time to sleep, so the actual time spent during the jam was less than 24 hours, stretched across a weekend. There has been significant development after the original jam.
The Turres Monacorum pre-release version 0.7 has been made available at Github.com
Both source code (Lua/Löve2d) and binary versions are available: For those who have Löve2d installed on Windows, MacOS and Linux, a .love file has been provided.
For Windows 64 bit, a full binary (that includes all dependencies) is also available, both on GitHub and here on indiedb.
