ToK is a fast paced action platformer with pixel graphics. You can download and play the Local Multiplayer PvP build, which features 5 playable characters, 9 levels and 6 ingame items. Currently the development is focused on the Single player campaign, which is a Metroidvania with focus on platforming action and puzzle solving, all tied up by a story driven adventure.
The game takes inspiration from the 90's jewels (Super Metroid, Castelvania SOTN, Megaman X, Super Mario World) as well as some modern indie games such as Samurai Gunn, Towerfall, Nidhogg and Rivals of Aether for the Multiplayer, as well as Super Meat Boy, Shovel Knight, Axiom Verge, Aquaria and many others for its Singleplayer.
Hello everyone!
After releasing the Local Multiplayer PvP build I've decided that it's time to delve into the singleplayer experience development. The PvP build is stable and good enough to stand alone for some time, though I'll keep updating it now and then.
The single player will be a Metroidvania. The world will consist of many interconnected rooms. Within, enemies, doors & keys, puzzles, platforming action and a story to tie it all together. The camera will have it's restrictions. Some rooms will feature static camera while others won't and will be bigger than the current view. I'm doing a lot of tests to find out interesting and challenging mechanics though I'll mostly keep it simple, focused and achievable. Regarding art, similarly, I'll try to keep it simple but at the same time doing my best to make it look as cool and as fun as I can. As soon as there is something polished enough I'll release a Demo.

After the local multiplayer demo release the game was thoroughly tested and here some of the matches highlights.
These are the final touches for the Demo that is going to be released this weekend.
Local Multiplayer Only - This version contains 5 playable characters and 9 maps.
Another dead game. Sad. This one had such promise.

I try to download it but it says it has a malware
Hi!
Thank you for wanting to play ToK =)
I originally was sharing just the .exe file and that seemed to conflict with some firewalls and antiviruses. A few days ago I updated the download file to a zip folder containing the same .exe and if worked for most people. Did you try the latest version?
Best!
For me the same, but it still says it is a malware
I am currently studying games development and am trying to build up my CV, so if you would allow me to help you with anything you need for this project it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
