This is the story of the Norwegian explorer Johan Adrian Jacobsen. From 1881 to 1883 he travelled along the northwestern coasts of the Americas. Commissioned by a support comitee, he purchased and catalogued an immense number of artefacts and objects from local tribes for the German Humboldt Foundation. Totem's Sound is based on his personal accounts. Well, almost. Enjoy a day of Johan's journey, featuring great outdoor activities such as canoe races, collecting clams, not getting eaten by a giant grizzley and of course fish oil binge drinking. Get in contact with the local tribes, that are struggling to preserve their ways of life and their cultures in a rapidly changing world. Totem's Sound is an action rpg developed with the wonderful Löve. It's a commission by the Humbold Foundation, that Johan Adrian Jacobsen collected artefacts for 133 years ago. It was developed by the artist group gold extra in close collaboration with Causa Creations. And don't forget: it's a prototype.
Apparently some older AMD graphic cards were rather troubled by our shaders. We identified the culprit and fixed it. A new version with the fix is now ready for download!
If you have any other requests or remarks concerning bugs, feel free to report them to us. We'ld be more then happy to make Totem's Sound as perfect as possible.
Totem's Sound is now available for download, also at the wonderful IndieDB.
Totem's Sound is ready! After some last minute patches, we're ready for sharing...
This is the OSX build of Totem's Sound. It was tested on various OSX devices and should be reasonably compatible with the new versions of OSX.
This is the build for Windows. It was tested on various devices, mainly Windows 7. As you might have heard, there's no more support for Windows XP.
