Leave the farms and cities behind, jump straight into managing your own planets in The Universim, a brand new god-game in development by Crytivo Games and Alexander Koshelkov. The Universim is first and foremost a planet management game. The game begins in the stone age, thousands of years before the modern era. Research plays a crucial role in the game. Players will initially need to reinvent fire in order to survive attacks from wild animals or create cures for deadly viruses and other ailments. We’re developing planets that will have air, weather effects and varying temperatures and natural resources along with deadly natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornadoes, freak storms and meteors. In The Universim you play as a god, you will not interact directly with the population that inhabits your planet, however you will be able to help them. You will have the power to stop wars between cities on your planet or you can ignore them and allow one city to destroy the other.

There is not much things to do. You can find some logs (i found 5, but i think there are more than 12), an ovni and much more!

Does this work on linux?
The installer seems to work fine on linux using wine.
But I'm not sure about actual gameplay yet.

Works beautiful on Ubuntu in Wine. Graphics are amazing but the soundtrack is stunning. This makes for an immersive experience. Thank you to all those working on it. Love it so far.

Hi,
Please add an option for offline activation. I cannot be the only one who always runs random binaries from the Internet in a sandboxed machine with no Internet access, and in your case I can't even get past "Enter the key" screen. I'd love to look at the demo (I'm one of the early KS backers).

Not for Mac. Great. When I supported the game on Kickstarter, it still looked like there will be Mac support - now the Mac support is already falling behind in the very first released demo.
That and the fact that there have been very few updates really makes me want to cancel my Digital Divinity pledge. The Oct 2015 release is not going to happen anyway (more like Oct 2016, if we're very lucky). Otherwise, we'd have the Alpha release already, not a graphics demo.

We were supposed to get the Alpha at the end of last year. Now it's February, and the best we can get is a graphics demo which shows us content that we could see on the Kickstarter page a year ago. From the monthly (well, bi-monthly) updates, it's also becoming obvious that there is very very very little progress.
And no Mac version? Let me guess: The Alpha will also be PC-only, and we will get a Mac version a year later.

I load the game, put in the serial code, click submit and get a error saying cant connect to server, anyone have any ideas? is there a fix?
