The Old City

The Old City is a first person adventure game that focuses entirely on story. Everything else is secondary. Set in a decaying city from a civilization long past, The Old City puts the player in the shoes of a sewer dwelling isolationist. You progress through the game by simply exploring the environment. The story itself is told via the musings of your character and, chiefly, the environment itself. There are no weapons, no items, and no skill-trees. All that exists is you and the world.

Atrium Carceri specializes in dark ambient 24bit music. He runs Cryo Chamber, a hub for other similarly talented artists, and he is fantastic at what he does. Our game is about exploring an environment to learn a story, so the soundtrack is very important to us. He has not disappointed!
