The game was fantastic, especially at the discounted price. I don't think I need to mention anymore that The Mean Greens Plastic Warfare really reminded me of the nostalgic Army Men series (as that's been said numerous times), but it was ultimately a very fun toy shooter overall, second to Toy Soldiers, third to MicroVolts. The music especially is one of this game's strongest points. I practically fell in love with the soundtrack, especially Deep Freeze and Operation Birthday! The latter really felt like a worthy Christmas present and as if Ashton Andersen somehow for-shadowed my 22nd birthday like some Gypse and decided to give it me early prior to Christmas (lol). The level really caught me by surprise.

The only downfall with TMG is it's lackluster bug epidemic, similar to what I witnessed with Ark: Survival Evolved - semi-responsive UI elements, no way to filter the server browser by the player count or otherwise, and this time, some of the main menu features do not work (e.g. motion blur). Also, the player limit is rather disappointing for me, for the size and abilities of the maps I'd say increase the player size at least to 10vs10 instead of 5vs5, or hell if you are feeling up for it, crank it up to 16vs16. I crave an all-out-war player scale, which I felt is what the world of Army Men was meant to be.

Buy it now while the discount is in affect, $10 at its current state is truly what its worth. Regular price ($15) may be questionable until they update the game with the said suggestions (or at least crank up the player size, and perhaps throw in some vehicles).
