The Lawless is a cinematic, first-person shooter set in the dark and violent world of the Old West. The game is focused on speed and accuracy as you tap-to-kill targets and score points by creating a consistent flow through the game. The player takes on the perspective of a young and angry bounty hunter dead-set on bringing vengeance upon those that tore his life apart as a child - and get rich doing it. The Lawless is being primarily being developed for iOS but we have plans to make it available to Android users as well.

Expanding the beta to 500 places!

First off, we would like to say thank you again for all the support and the feedback from the initial round of beta testers and to the members who have chosen to watch us here on IndieDB!

Due to an overwhelmingly successful response, we have decided to open up another set of spaces for testing earlier than planned and are now allowing up to 500 members to try the browser-based beta!

If you haven't already registered for the beta then head over to www.thelawlessonline.com, and simply create an account. There should be a link on the top saying 'Beta Test'.

If the response is like it was for the first round, then be quick! Last time, we filled all 200 spots in less than a day. Please feel free to let us know what you think of the game and whether you had any difficulties playing / loading it.

With the feedback given by you, we are hoping to have the final version released on the app store mid December, just before Apple break for the Christmas period.

Also, we'd like to congratulate Joneau for absolutely dominating our scores on the John Folsom level!

thought the situation can change alot when the mobile release is here. touch pad allows lot faster reaction times leading to better score, is the beta staying on website when full release is here?
