Back in 1952, two people married. Those two people were Harold Shitemeister and Donna Fiefer. They were both African-American, and gave birth to their first child, Jeffery, a year later in 1953. Life was fine. But not as fine as one might think. The family lived in Birmingham, Alabama, one of the most segregated cities of the South. Every day was some weird thing, whether it be a TP'd house or getting shot once a year, the family struggled. Donna is now pregnant with her second child, whom she still has to name. Jeffery's got some ideas, though. Harold, however, is at town hall working to discuss a deal with the mayor. This can possibly lead to a meeting with the president of the United States, John F. Kennedy. But, Harold never came home. Donna has been taking care of the garden and hasn't seen him in two days. Jeffery is on a mission. Jeffery...is ten years old.
