Can your business idea conquer the world? The Company is a brutal business simulation video game that lets you take control of a disruptive idea and use it to conquer the world. From the first sale to the moment you become the largest company on Earth, use your entrepeneurial drive to lead a team of groundbreakers to the ultimate success. The game simulates every aspect of a company's rise to world domination using more than 50 variables to calculate precise growth figures, taking into account a huge amount of factors, from political tensions in neighboring countries to your employee's happiness with their salaries. Every decision the player makes alters how the world reacts to his company's growth.
History
The Company began development due to a lack of innovation and realism in today's tycoon and business simulation games. RTS games simply reuse the same mechanisms and concepts, making the player follow a clear, uninteresting path to victory.
With The Company, the player can retry his tactics over and over and he'll likely never encounter the same scenario as before. This 'replayability' and the choice of a unique path determined by the player's decisions is what motivates us to continue developing the game and increasing the number of random events the player can choose from.
Being an entrepeneur takes a lot of tries and even the best players in the world can go bankrupt if certain events happen or conditions are unfavourable. This game aims at realistically portraying what the entrepeneurial world is like and the brutal path that must be followed to succeed.
